A salt spreader is a useful weapon in the battle to keep going when snow and ice create transport and mobility problems.

It is a mobile device, usually two-wheeled, which is used to distribute salts, or other snow and ice melting products onto the surface of paths, drives, car parks and forecourts, mainly to keep ice and snow at bay for safe walking or driving.
They are labour saving and are highly practical due to their even distribution and, therefore, cost effectiveness.
It pays to be prepared and a salt-spreader can be a useful part of preparing for inclement weather.
