Petrol Powered Snow Ploughs are -
- usually much cheaper at the outset, as well as being cheaper, usually, to maintain.
- slightly quieter than diesel powered engines
- require fewer gear changes within the same power band
- run cleaner and are more economic in the long run, being more fuel-efficient.
- have a longer engine life and although they give off more particle filled matter in their exhaust, the carbon constituent is lower than that in petrol engines.
