Engines do vibrate and although you can dampen, stabilise and reduce engine oscillations, some vibration will always be there to some degree.
However, if you are prone to hand and wrist issues anyway, the first thing to do is to make sure you buy a mower with a good vibration damping system and comfort handles or shock absorbing handlebars.
It is also advisable to wear a good pair of gloves as these can also offer some protection against vibration. (See image below for example)
If the vibrations feel really excessive and have become worse, there can be other reasons. e.g if your blades have become bent or unlined or your air filters (yes them again) are clogged this can increase vibration. It’s always worth checking these things before you spend your money on repairs.
